Join us for a relaxing weekend staycation at Alila Shanghai! Perfect for families looking for a quick urban escape. Here's what we got up to:

DAY 1:
🍽️ Brunch at Shanghai Tavern (The Edition) – One of my favorite spots near the Bund! Pro tip: Dine here for free parking if you're driving. The staff even surprised us with a magic show for the kids!
🏊 Pool Time – Alila's pool is... cozy (read: very small). Great for kids, but adults might want to skip the "swimming" part.
🍕 Dinner In – Dominos delivery + spicy crawfish feast with friends! Ended the night with cocktails at the hotel bar.

DAY 2:
💪 Morning Workout – 2-hour gym session to balance out the food coma.
🎵 Gong Bath Experience – My first sound healing session! So surreal feeling the vibrations sync with my heartbeat.
🥟 Alila Breakfast – Semi-buffet with Western/Chinese/Japanese options. MUST-TRY: Their xiaolongbao and pan-fried dumplings!
🛍️ Nanjing West Road Stroll – Quick shopping break before... more pool time (kids’ demand!).
🥩 Dinner at Toramaru Yakiniku – My son’s #1 pick for Japanese BBQ in the city!
