What I liked
• Amazing atmosphere
• Amazing light displays
• Eye of the forest light display (blew my mind)
• Free bus to the lights
• New light displays every year
• An experience I will never forget

What I didn't like? NONE!!!!

Is it worth doing? YES!!!!

I have travelled almost 5 hours to get to this place and in the end it was well worth it. This is my 3rd year in a row, and I will do it again next year. The TSB Festival of lights is New Zealand's best free light display, and every year it never disappoints. The colours, the lights, the vibe truly makes the whole experience truly mesmerizing.

My best tips when planning a visit
• Plan your accommodation to be in walking distance to Pukekura Park
• If you cant find accommodation close to Pukekura Park, take the free bus. [see 01:43]
• The free bus eliminates the stress of finding a car park. Take the bus and enjoy the show.
• On return trip, make sure to be at the bus stop before 11:00pm, or else your walking back.
