Autocoids are Substance produced by wide variety of cells, act locally at site of production.


Autocoids example include
1. Histamine
2. Serotomime
3. Prostaglandin
4. Leucotrienes
5. Platelet activating factor
6. Plasma Kinin
7. Angiotensin



The H1 anti histaminics include
1. First generation antihistaminics
a. Highly sedatives :Diphenhydramine, Dimenhydrinate, Promethazine,
Hydroxyzine
b. Moderately sedatives: Pheniramine, Cyproheptadine, Meclizine,
Cinnarizine
c. Mild sedatives: Chlorpheniramine, Dexchlorpheniramine, Triprolidine,
Clemastine


2. Second generation antihistaminics:
Fexofenadine, Loratadine, Cetrizine, Levocetrizine, Azelastine, Mizolastine, Ebastine, Rupatadine
