Over the weekend of May 31st to June 1, 2025, the Framingham/Worcester commuter rail line was suspended between Framingham and Boston for massDOT bridge work. To provide alternative service, the MBTA ran two rail replacement shuttles, from Framingham to Auburndale with connections to the green line at Riverside and from West Newton to Kenmore. Join me as we take a ride on the 11:45 AM West Newton to Kenmore trip operated under contract by Yankee bus lines. The vehicle used is coach 345, one of Yankee’s 2025 Mercedes Tourider coaches.
