Another great Bach piece. There's so much youthful enthusiasm in this music. I read that Bach wrote this in his younger years. I think it was as he realized that he was really capable of great things in music and was probably the most accomplished organist of his time.
This is a MIDI performance that I made straight out of the sheet music. There's no attempt to "humanize" the flow. I find that these faster Bach compositions sound pretty good this way---especially since one can hear all the notes more clearly.
This new organ sample set is largely based on the original Caen Cavaille-Coll virtual organ by Sonus Paradisi. It's size has been doubled by the addition of new ranks by Custom Hauptwerk Organs. This is now truly a BIG French Romantic instrument.
