करेला रेसिपी [ RECIPE - INGREDIENTS - METHOD ]
Cut Bitter gourd into medium size pieces,Boil the pieces in water for 10 minutes at medium heat by adding some tamarind & turmeric to it.
After cooking take the pieces and Squeeze the water out of it & keep aside, this process is for removing the bitterness from the Bitter gourd.
Roast Sesame seeds and grind them to powder ,cut green chillies,onion,& crush Garlic.
Put some Oil in Hot dish and add cumin,mustard seeds,Now put onion,Green chillies,Garlic into the oil & fry.
Add turmeric ,salt,now add Bitter gourd pieces & fry for 5 minutes,add red chilly powder ,jeera methi powder,and Tamarind juice and cook for few minutes ,now add sesame powder,Coriander powder,Jaggery,Curry leaves,Green coriander leaves & cook for 5 more minutes covering the lid of the dish.
Now remove the lid & Garnish with fresh coriander leaves & Your TANGY SPICY BITTER GOURD CURRY is ready to be served!
