Niagara Falls State Park is the oldest state park in America, established in 1885 .
Over 8 million tourist visit Niagara Falls State Park annually. During periods of peak flow between summer and fall, more than 2,700,000 litters of water per second pour over Niagara Falls. Four of the five Great Lakes drain into the Niagara River, before emptying into Lake Ontario.
