Lego Technic John Deere 4940 Sprayer! - A

This video shows my latest Lego Technic MOC, the Lego Technic John Deere 4940 self propelled sprayer and it´s features.
It is an alternate build of the LEgo Technic #42157 John Deere 948L-II Skidder and consists of 1446 parts. This means that everything you need to build it yourself is the 42157 Set by Lego and my instructions.

The model uses all of the pneumatic parts of the 42157 set. Two pneumatic cylinders operate the adjustable tread of the wheels, one operates the first stage of the spray arms unfolding mechanism and the last two cylinders are there for the second stage of the unfolding mechanism.

Besides that, the sprayer features several manual functions such as a HOG (hand-of-god) steering and a 3 cylinder fake engine driven by the rear wheels. Both, the steering and the movement of the fake engines pistons works independent from the adjustable tread. The sprayer also has an extendable ladder and the spray arms can be lowered manually.
