Its the end of the week and you know what that means....
Doll Highlight of the Week!
This weeks dolls are special as they are from my personal collection. Yes I do have a few dolls I've collected. These beautiful ladies sit on a bookcase above my desk.
Christie was the first Barbie sized African American doll. Mattel debuted a Black Francie doll in 1967, making her the very first black doll, just teenage size. Christie dolls, along with other black (African American) dolls are harder to find as they were not produced in high numbers.
