It’s been a while since I travelled with my mom, so we decided to slow things down and spend a few peaceful days in Munnar and Vattavada. This vlog captures a perfect day with her — from foggy walks through tea plantations to an unexpected off-roading adventure in Munnar.

We started our road trip from Thrissur and reached Dream Catcher Plantation Resort, Munnar, where we stayed inside a beautiful tea estate with views of Chokramudi Peak, lush tea gardens and cardamom plantations. The climate turned misty by evening, temperatures dropped, and honestly… this is the Munnar we all come looking for.

The highlight of the stay (apart from the insane views) was the fish curry meal — fresh, simple and easily one of the best we’ve had on a trip. The next morning, we explored the plantation, walked along tiled paths, visited watch towers, and spent time in a calm cardamom garden filled with bird sounds.

Things got adventurous when we went for a Polaris ATV off-road ride in Munnar. The resort has its own off-road track, and the experience was thrilling, comfortable and surprisingly fun — even with mom along for the ride 😄
