2000 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 6.5 TME (owned since 2007)

Up until recent times I had a personal collection of vehicles (6) that I had collected over the years. These were vehicle I either grow up with a poster on the wall or simply just fell in love with them due to their motor racing heritage. Some of the vehicles I had owned for almost 20yrs, all except one were purchased by me here in Japan and I had in fact exported some of them to Australia to place in storage with the golden plan of one day retiring there. Some of the vehicles I had to own here in Japan for a period of time before I would be granted import approval by the Australian government, because of this some are rare to be seen in Australia. Five years ago I decided that I would start selling them off until I was left with one, don’t ask me why, sometimes you need a change in direction and due to my workload I very rarely got the spare time to really enjoy them even when I was in Australia for holidays (week break here and there). It had taken me about three years to sell five of them, not due to price but more the fact I really did not put much effort in trying, most were sold by word of mouth. I kept my favourite two until last and really could not decide which one to keep (still have it today) and I simply decided it via a flip of a coin. Do I regret selling them and the answer is yes and no, yes I miss them a lot and no I do not miss the flat batteries, insurance/rego, up keep and most importantly keeping them in showroom condition.
This was the 2nd vehicle to sell from my personal collection.
