🪔 Til Gud Mawa Barfi Recipe
🧾 Ingredients:
• 1 cup white sesame seeds (Til)
• ¾ cup grated jaggery (Gud)
• ½ cup mawa (khoya)
• 2 tbsp ghee
• ¼ tsp cardamom powder
• 2 tbsp chopped nuts (optional – almond/cashew/pistachio)
👩🍳 Method:
Dry roast sesame seeds on low flame till light golden and aromatic. Cool slightly and grind coarsely.
Heat ghee in a pan, add mawa and roast on low flame till soft and aromatic.
Add grated jaggery and cook on low flame till it melts completely.
Add ground sesame seeds, cardamom powder and chopped nuts.
Mix well and cook for 2–3 minutes till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
Transfer to a greased tray, flatten evenly and let it set.
Cut into barfi pieces once slightly warm.
🍯 Til Gud Papdi / Chikki Recipe
🧾 Ingredients:
• 1 cup white sesame seeds (Til)
• ¾ cup jaggery (Gud)
• 1 tbsp ghee
• 1 tsp water
👩🍳 Method:
Dry roast sesame seeds on low flame till they turn light golden. Keep aside.
Heat ghee in a pan, add jaggery and water.
Cook on medium flame till jaggery melts and reaches a hard-ball stage.
Add roasted sesame seeds and mix quickly.
Immediately spread the mixture on a greased plate or parchment paper.
Flatten with a greased rolling pin.
Cut into pieces while still warm and let it cool completely.

Work quickly while making Til Gud Papdi/Chikki, as jaggery hardens fast.
