In this episode of my journey to travel the world on a bicycle, I am wild camping on the shores of the lake Band-e Amir in Central Afghanistan. The lake is one of the major tourist atttractions in the country. Getting here was easier said than done, as I was facing more challenging headwinds, but also had friendly interactions with the locals.
