How to Know if Baby is Breech? Midwife Using Leopold's Maneuver to Know Position of Baby in Uterus
Are you wondering how to know position of baby in womb? Or are you wondering is baby breech? How can you tell if baby is head down? To do this, she will perform the Leopold’s maneuver. Using these very specific hands-on maneuvers we can accurately determine baby’s position at term in most cases.

Using the Leopold’s Maneuver to determine that baby is head down is a routine part of good quality prenatal care. Midwives and obstetricians alike should be skilled in this maneuver, and should refer for an ultrasound only when baby’s position is difficult to determine or if breech is suspected.
