Excited to share my latest board pickup, the 1996 Burton Big Air in a 164cm.
This board was designed by the one and only Craig Kelly and came off the heels of the very successful '95 Screaming Tree. It's shape is quite reminiscent of the 95 shape with a few small modifications, including an elliptical nose for better float and a more rounded tail.
The board also features the period correct bindings called the 'System' which came with two 3-strap hi-backs and one custom freestyle high-back. Interchangeable to offer more of a freestyle feel on your back foot while maintaining carving control on the front.
A super cool board and I'm stoked to add it to the collection.
