Spelling You See Curriculum Review

We have been using Spelling You See (by Demme Learning) for years with our kids and it has proven not only effective but one of our favourite parts of the day for 5 different kids, all our different learning styles AND various learning challenges that we face. Using a blend of copywork and dictation, rhymes and non-fiction information, every facet of the program is designed to teach children through context rather than random spelling lists that mean nothing to them.

For us, the fact that it only takes 10 minutes a day, the fact that the older kids can do it mostly on their own, the fact that I can blend kids at their various spelling stages, the fact that my kids still love it and I never have to deal with whining and the fact that it blends seamlessly with our Brave Writer lifestyle and the Brave Writer philosophy, makes this the perfect fit.
