The Elderly Care Assistant / Companion Robot is an Arduino UNO–based mobile robotic system designed to support elderly individuals in their daily activities. The robot uses ultrasonic sensors to detect and follow the movement of the user while maintaining a safe distance. A motor driver module controls the DC motors, enabling smooth and stable navigation. The system is powered by an onboard battery. This assistive robot aims to enhance independence, mobility, and companionship for elderly users, demonstrating the practical application of embedded systems, sensor integration, and autonomous navigation in healthcare-oriented robotics.
