Chief Apostle Leber in Mumbai | 15 January 2006 (English & Hindi)

On January 15, 2006, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber led the Divine Service in Mumbai, reflecting on Philippians 1:6:

“… being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good
work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

In his sermon, Chief Apostle Leber spoke about the "Day of Jesus Christ," the culmination of our faith when Jesus will return to gather His followers and complete His work. He emphasized that, as we await this day, we are reminded that God has begun a good work in each of us and is committed to completing it. Just as God finished the creation of the world and declared it "very good," He will also fulfill His work in us. Let us find assurance and inspiration in this promise.

It was a historical moment with Chief Apostle Leber serving almost 800 members at the hotel Lalit Intercontinental in Mumbai. For the first time, this Divine Service was broadcasted via television to more than one hundred thousand viewers in India.
