Experience our fresh take on the timeless jazz standard "On Green Dolphin Street". Originally composed by Bronisław Kaper with lyrics by Ned Washington in 1947 for the MGM film Green Dolphin Street, the tune became a beloved standard after Miles Davis' influential 1958 recording, where it was reimagined with modal and bebop influences.
We've taken this classic and reinterpreted it through the lens of Gypsy Jazz — inspired by the legendary Django Reinhardt and the spirit of 1930s-40s Parisian swing. With percussive latin rhythm, intricate improvisation, and a blend of lyrical and fiery phrasing, our trio gives this well known jazz standard a vibrant new voice.
