With the SMP HardLock quick coupler, you can change attachments quickly and safely.
SMP's HardLock has a double locking device at the front, which is designed for zero play.
The locking method is 3 step process:
The lockable knife wedge key comes out underneath the rear lock
When the key has enough resistance, an excenter locks the front axle into place
A mechanical device then locks the excenter
The tool is then ready to use.
An indicator shows the movement of the knife wedge.
And another indicator confirms when the excenter has locked.
This means that the driver can easily see when the quick coupler has locked into place.
SMP's HardLock has a simple but robust design which is totally hydro mechanical and has no electronic parts.
The excenter is designed to increase the pressure against the axle as it slowly begins to wear. This guarantees zero-play against connected tools and equipment for less wear and tear.
