Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this PowerMax AC to DC Converter with Built-In 3-2-1 Stage Battery Charger. Now if you're looking for something that can both power your 12-volt system and properly charge your batteries, this PowerMax unit's gonna be a great option for you to consider. This is basically an all-in-one AC to DC power converter and smart battery charger. So when you plug into shore power or run a generator, this unit's going to take that standard household AC power and it's going to turn it into clean, reliable 12-volt DC power, the kind that your RV, trailer, or boat actually runs on.
Now on top of powering your lights, fans, and other 12-volt accessories, this also works as a 60-amp battery charger. That means that you're gonna be able to recharge your battery bank quickly and efficiently, even while you're using power inside the RV. This SME version includes a built-in multi-stage charging system, which is really important for battery health. It automatically moves through stages like bulk, absorption, and float, so your batteries charge fast without getting overworked and then they stay topped off for safety once they're full. You can also adjust the voltage if you need to match a specific battery type, whether it's standard, lead-acid, AGM, gel, or even some lithium setups.
And since this has built-in safety protections for things like overloads and overheating, this is designed to be very reliable in real-world use. Now, people typically use this converter charger to replace or upgrade the factory converter in an RV, keep batteries charged on a boat, or run a small off-grid setup when the AC power is available. It's compact, it's easy to mount, and it's gonna give you stable power with a cooling fan that only runs when needed. So let's talk measurements. Looking at the overall length, and I'm including our terminals here, we're sitting pretty close to 9 7/8-inches long.
The overall height is gonna be about 4 3/16 inches. And then the overall width, and I'm including the brackets here, about 8 1/8-inches wide. So this is gonna power your 12-volt system. It's gonna charge your batteries intelligently and it's gonna give you plenty of current, again, up to 60 amps to keep everything running smoothly. If you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this or anything else that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out.
We want to make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
