I'VE SOLD 700+ ITEMS ON VINTED | My Top Tips For Buying And Selling On Vinted

My most requested video is FINALLY here... my tips and tricks for buying and selling secondhand on Vinted! I'm not saying I'm an expert, but I've sold over 755+ items on ‪@VintedCom‬, as well as finding and buying absolute gems every month. I'll pop below my tips and tricks, but if you've feel I've missed anything, please feel free to share yours below. Also, because I'm curious, feel free to share your best secondhand buy!

My Tips For Buying On Vinted
1 - Shop with purpose. Vinted can be overwhelming, especially if you're new to the platform, so rather than doom scrolling make sure you have an item in mind. The more you search and save, the more Vinted will know what size you are, brands you like, and prices you love.
2 - Check and read the listings. I know this seems straight forward, but the platform is very visual and it's easy to get excited and hit 'buy' before reading the full description.
3 - Ask questions. If you want more photos, or have questions... ASK! Sellers are generally quick to respond and are happy to help.
4 - Search and save. Now if there's something you like, save it. I would then search for the item again to see what's the best price you get find it at. Never settle for the first search as I guarantee there's more on the platform and you could save yourself extra dollar.
5 - Offers & bundles. Make the most of the offer button, but don't be rude, be realistic. Also if there's multiple items from one buyer that you like, then make use of the bundle option.
6 - The waiting game. If there's something you like, but you don't need it now then save it. You'll be the first to be notified when the seller reduces it in price and you can once again save yourself some money.

My Tips For Selling On Vinted
1 - Profile and postage. Make sure you set up your profile, but most importantly go to the postage section in your settings and toggle off the postage you can't commit to.
2 - Little and often. Uploading is totally down to what works for you, however, in my experience uploading 2-3 items a day works better at pushing them out on Vinted. Plus, it's 5 minutes of your day instead of hours.
3 - SEO & hashtags. Vinted is a search engine, so when setting up your listing make sure you give as much information as possible.
4 - At least three photos. Vinted loves photos and recommends at least three per listing. If you have any photos of you wearing the item then make sure you add these too. People want to see how the item looks on and these photos tend to work best. But ultimately make sure that the photos are clear, in natural light and have a plain background.
5 - Mailing bags. This isn't a must, but it does make life easier. I get 100 mailing bags for £5 with free shipping from TikTok Shop and they're so good.
6 - Message buyers. This can take a little bit of time, but it's worth it because it can equal sales. You'll be notified when someone likes an item, so feel free to send them a 'can post tomorrow' or a cheeky order to complete the sale.
7 - Bundles. In your settings you can set up bundle prices, which is always worth doing. It doesn't happen often, but when someone buys 4+ items it's magical and can help shift more items while making more money.

PS, the reason I say 800 items in the video is because I have sold over 800 items, but I haven't had an updated message from Vinted. The one on my thumbnail that stats 755 items is from July.
