Class 5 Flexible Cables - Construction, Number of Conductors - BS 1363 Plug Tops and BS 1362 Fuses

In this video we take a look at class 5 flexible cables. In the early stages of training to be an electrician colleges work with flexible cables. These early practical exercises are making off a ceiling rose and pendant and a BS 1363 plug top. Understanding the construction of flexible cables in relationships to the conductor sizes, number of conductors and the fine copper strands making them a class 5 conductor. I also show the construction of a BS 1363 13 amp plug top and a BS 1362 fuses. All these skills are required for apprentice Electrician’s.
