This Diptych Sundial was inspired by 16th century redwood diptych sundials. It’s a portable mix of both horizontal and vertical sundials.
The extra astronomical feature chosen here is the compass, which is an inseparable part of diptych sundials. For more convenience and authenticity, a chart of the equation of time has been added as a second astronomical feature.
