小品盆栽が中心の我が家でも、いよいよ松の芽切りの季節が始まりました。
私が毎年最初にすることは、芽切りをしない木を探すこと。
芽の伸びが悪い、葉の色が冴えない、、、様々な理由で調子を落としている松があるはずです。
黒松や赤松の盆栽を作るうえで、芽切り作業は欠かせませんが、
芽切りをせずに休ませてあげることも、大事な選択肢の一つだと考えています。
今回は、芽切りをしない時もあるという芽切りの動画です。
