Combo please hold the buttons - pattern review McCalls 8152-Simplicity 1668 ep 37-25

The McCall's 8152 jacket can be made a variety of ways: with or without darts, long sleeves or shorter sleeves, longer or shorter version. Dory made a size 16 from fabric she bought at a garage sale for 24 cents a yard! So it cost 50 cents in fabric to make. Next best thing to free! It's a lightweight stretch white denim, so versatile. She made it without the darts and a shorter version. She hand stitched both the sleeves hem and the bottom hem. It was an easy make.
Simplicity 1668 View B, Size M, was made from fabric that was given to Dory. The pattern was purchased at a garage sale for 25 cents. There were a few issues with the front facing. The instructions were a little difficult to understand. Dory is thinking she did something not quite right for the little elastic insert at the bottom of the square neckline. But it was an easy sew.
