Pirates are heavily associated with their iconic flag - the Jolly Roger. Sadly, we have little documentation of how and when pirates made their flags. They didn't exactly leave a handbook behind, leaving their procedure up to debate and speculation. This video will attempt to retrace their steps: when they made their flags, who made it, what materials they used, what techniques, and where they got the inspiration for their symbols.
