WORLD PREMIERE! - 2020 AUDI E-TRON SPORTBACK - Extremely innovative EV Suv Coupé

And so here it is! The world premiere of the sleeker Audi E-Tron, the 2020 Audi E-Tron Sportback. I went to Gotland to Sweden to have a moment with the car to show you it’s exterior and interior details. Driving scenes and acceleration and all that, will come in future videos. The E-Tron Sportback's beautifully shaped siluette is a huge step from the more boxy E-Tron. The world premiere is here in Los Angeles, USA, where I am now, but these photos were taken by me when I had the sneak premiere with this car two months ago on the island of Gotland in Sweden.
The E-Trons Sportback shape gives it a lower resistance and drag coefficient of only 0.25 and therefore it can go 446km compared to the normal E-Trons 400km. Also, this is a world premiere a global innovation in a production vehicle. The DML - Digital Matric LED lights. With the digital matrix LED headlights as top-of-the range equipment, Audi presents a worldwide first in a production vehicle: Broken down into minute pixels, their light can illuminate the road in high resolution. The design is based on a technology abbreviated as DMD (digital micromirror device) and is also used in many video projectors. At its heart is a small chip containing one million micromirrors, each of whose edge length measures just a few hundredths of a millimeter. With the help of electrostatic fields, each individual micromirror can be tilted up to 5,000 times per second. Depending on the setting, the LED light is either directed via the lenses onto the road or is absorbed in order to mask out areas of the light beam. This is something never done before and Audi shows once again that they are leaders in the car-light industry.
