DIRECTOR'S NOTE:

Although the UCVE has never shied away from an epic finale, as I entered my fourth and final year in this group, I just couldn’t shake the feeling of wanting something more; something even bigger. In exec team discussions about potential themes for this semester’s concert, one idea stood out the most: what if every piece felt like an epic finale? From there, “The UCVE Brings the Drama” was born. What we ended up with was a musical experience that embodies “drama” in every sense of the word.
Planning out a concert’s setlist is always an intense and exciting process, and this time around we decided to shake things up even more by having current choir members arrange every single piece that we would perform. As this was something new to all of us, there were some bumps in the road, but I am so beyond thankful to everyone who contributed and proud of this whole choir for working through it and pulling this show together. I truly love what we’ve created here and am so excited for you all to hear it. Enjoy the show!
