[Hetalia CMV] A Thousand Years (Queen Elizabeth I and England)

Mortals cannot live forever - but love can last an eternity. The reign of Queen Elizabeth I would come to be known as the Golden Age. England grew more powerful and ambitious, whilst Spain under the rule of King Phillip threatened the downfall of the of the Queen, with the might of the Spanish Armada. France continued attempts to woo her majesty - but to no avail. For Elizabeth would not marry just anyone, no mortal man could suffice - for she pledged her heart to the only man who mattered - her country. Days turn into weeks, weeks into years - and although England thrived, Elizabeth aged. With each passing moment she knew she was one step closer to fading away, like any english rose. Even so - to have loved, even for only one lifetime - is the greatest gift in the world.
Finally, the second half and conclusion of their love story. I hope you have enjoyed the two films. Thank you for your lovely comments, honestly there is nothing quite like having such support on a project that meant so much to us. A historical narrative was so much fun to explore!
