Public trust in journalism is in decline. It's time, says Darryl Holliday, to focus on building public infrastructure where everyone can find, factcheck, and produce civic information. Darryl cofounded the Chicago-based civic media lab City Bureau and its Documenters Network, which trains and pays community members to document public meetings and produce media and information that is practical and actionable — a model he is championing widely.
