Everest Base Camp Trek (Part 4) | We finally made it to Base Camp and up Kalapatthar!

Day 9 of trekking through the Himalayas and it is finally base camp day! We started the day hiking from Lobuche to Gorakshep and took a quick break before we made a "quick" dash to reach the top of Kalapatthar before the clouds rolled in. We had the most beautiful views of Everest and could even see base camp from the top! Afterwards, we had some lunch before heading to base camp, which really is just a big rock to symbolize our achievement so far! This day was extremely tiring due to adding Kalapatthar to the same trekking day, but it was one of the most magical days of our trek. We made it to Everest base camp!
