FOR YOU, ANDRIJA, for you who continue to be an inspiration A NEW BEGINNING

A NEW BEGINNING – a film by Andjela Dzaferovic, a student at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts.
The film was created in 2024. as a response to a student assignment on the topic: “A portrait of a person I admire, a person who inspires me.”

At the International Youth Film Festival in Dubrovnik the film won the Grand Prix!
At the Academy Awards competition (in the student film category), out of 6,000 entries, the film reached the semifinals, ranking among the top 35!

Andjela made this film for Andrija, for herself, and for us, Andrija’s parents.
She created it with her talent, her big heart and her beautiful soul not knowing she would eventually receive permission to screen it beyond the university amphitheater.

The film preserves the memory of our son Andrija Cikic, a boy tragically killed in the mass shooting at elementary school “Vladislav Ribnikar” on May 3rd, 2023.

ZA TEBE ANDRIJA, za tebe koji nastavljas da budes inspiracija
NOVI POČETAK

NOVI POČETAK – film Andjele Džaferović, studentkinje Fakulteta dramskih umetnosti.
Film je nastao 2024. godine kao odgovor na studentski zadatak na temu „Portret osobe kojoj se divim, osobe koja me inspiriše“.

Na medjunarodnom filmskom festivalu mladih u Dubrovniku film je osvojio Grand prix!
Na takmičenju za nagradu Oscar (u kategoriji studentskih filmskih ostvarenja), u konkurenciji od 6000 filmova, film je ušao u polufinale, odnosno 35 najboljih!

Andjela je film stvarala za Andriju, sebe i nas, Andrijine roditelje.
Film je stvarala svojim talentom, velikim srcem i predivnom dušom ne znajući da će dobiti dozvolu da ga prikaže izvan fakultetskog amfiteatra.

Film neguje sećanje na našeg sina Andriju Čikića, dečaka tragično stradalog u masovnom ubistvu u OOŠ “Vladislav Ribnikar” 3. Maja 2023. godine.
