The Key to Wingers in Football Manager

I’ve made a tactic video about wing-backs and forwards, but what about the most exciting players on the field. The players on Football Manager that can change a game with one long galavanting run through or around the opposition. The tactical equivalent of a spark plug. The winger. How can you get goals and productivity from the often isolated, touch-line hugging FM mainstay, and when do you need to switch that role up to do so. Also, what attributes go into this decision and what should you be looking for.

My plan is to eventually make a catalog about every position where you can reference it, then keep it updated every year or two so you always have an understanding of how and where players end up positionally. Wingers can score bags of goals on FM21, so this is a good time to make it. On my twitch save tactic, I have also been experimenting with them heavily, so it is a great time to do a FOOTBALL MANAGER DEEP DIVE WOOOO.
