Green Party Senator Mark Dearey surprisingly came out in opposition of a proposed wind farm to be built in the Rockmarshall area. Senator Dearey was quoted in the Dundalk Democrat as saying "There is such a thing as an unsuitable site, though, and I believe this is one of them."
Following this story, the Democrat approached people in Dundalk to see if they shared Dearey's sentiments as well as their own thoughts on the wind farm and options in renewable energy.
