Visit to Calvery Homes: Sharing Joy and Compassion

The Interact Club members, along with the Principal, Vice Principal, teachers, and PTA members of our school, visited an AIDS-infected and affected home called "Calvery Homes" on Kanakapura Road on 14th December 2024. The orphanage houses 122 children who are orphaned due to AIDS.
All the contributions made by the students of our school during the Interact Club week were utilized to cater to the needs of the children in the orphanage. The students spent valuable time with the kids, engaging in fun games, action songs, and meaningful interactions. This visit allowed the students to experience firsthand the importance of life and the resources they often take for granted. It also taught them the joy of giving and sharing with those less fortunate.
The heads of the orphanage expressed their heartfelt gratitude for all the gifts and, especially, for the time we spent with the children.
