Filmed about 20 years ago, on the eastern seaboard of South Korea, an intoxicating shamanistic ceremony featuring Kim Suk Chul Ensemble. Kim Suk Chul was recognised as an Important Intangible Cultural Property, as the leader of group of shamanistic performing artists. Shamans serve as mediums between the gods, liberating people's conscious awareness and spirits.The female shamans who perform the ceremony are known as mudangs.
