Director, Mira Nair talks about her iconic films, MISSISSIPPI MASALA and MONSOON WEDDING as they reached landmark anniversaries. The celebration of the two classic films was held at Ava DuVernay's ARRAY creative campus in Los Angeles which followed a Q&A discussion with Nair, moderated by DuVernay. The celebration event took place on October 31, 2021. Both films were screened at ARRAY's own movie theater.

Filmmaker, Mira Nair reflects on making the film, MISSISSIPPI MASALA (1991) and the importance of showing it to younger viewers while recalling memories of making the film which cast a young Denzel Washington in his first romantic lead role, and made Uganda (the film's location) her second home.
