This area is still listed on maps as "Quarantine" However, it is known by other names such as, Mother Norton Sound, The Window, The Hole In The Rocks, South Inlet, and Yawkey Sound. Located between Winyah Bay and North Santee Bay, this is a DNR-protected area, accessible only at certain stages of tide.
