China Tariffs Necessary for U.S. National Security

China tariffs will raise the price of Chinese imports, discouraging Americans from buying them and cutting into the CCP’s revenue. This, in turn, reduces the funds available for the modernization of the People’s Liberation Army. The tariffs will also encourage U.S. and European companies to move production out of China, either back to the U.S. or to allied nations like Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand, strengthening ties with these countries and bringing them closer into the U.S. sphere of influence.
