In Tapestry you develop a civilisation through 5 eras using science, technology, military and exploration to get further ahead and more successfully than your opponents. You have to maximise your resources and your unique abilities to develop your civilisation better and win the game.

I love how pretty it is. I also love the rhythm, how it starts slowly and builds up to a super tense ending. I also like that you end your round when it fits your plans and that not everyone is in sync but you still manage to impact and interact with other players. I also love the asymmetry and that each civilisation and Tapestry make each game unique and always different.

Tabletop games are really fun, but learning the complicated directions and rules can be a challenge. Lavinia and Peter explain the rules quickly and easily while giving you all the tips you need to win faster.
