hiii!! this is a little past the deadline but.. in my defense, i'm just a girl

already had to reupload this, and then youtube decides to go kick my butt and refuse to process it. hopefully this time it works because im not doing this again.

i really really dislike this video but thats def because ive soent too long on it and now feel like its cringe . hopr you guys enjoy it 😭 and thank you to those two people who pointed out ellis' skintone! i had already started pt 2 before then, but ellis' skin was made a little darker. not dark enough, preferably, and im sorry for that. thank you for watching!

heres a description of the au, because obviously this video didt encapsulate all of it:

just so you know as context, gregory is a bit of a sociopath. while he never outright murdered anyone before the mimic controlled him, he wasnt a good kid. anyway, in my au, gregory was controlled before vanessa, and was the one talking to her through the encrypted messages detailed in her therapy session discs. thats why she gets this look on her face when tony brings up ggy, but i never really went into it. i'm not sure how gregory broke free, but he eventually did just before security breach. i took the idea from vanessa where she doesnt remember what she does as vanny when she turns back into vanessa to explain why gregory does actually act normal in the game. (as normal as gregory could act.. seriously, most apathetic kid ive seen in games lol) so while he forgot what happen, he eventually does remember, but instead of being guilty or sad, he's really just angry at the mimic for controlling him, as he sees being controlled as one of the worst things you could do to him. he decides to get revenge, build m.x.e.s, and set vanessa free.

much later on, when ruin starts, everything goes pretty much the same except for the end. i know its very controversial about whether or not gregory cut the elevator, but in this au he did. not because he just wants to kill her or whatever, but because he genuinely does not want to set the mimic free. the bonus section of cassie escaping was just for fun, but if i had to explain it it would be that gregory was really angry at her for letting the mimic free.
