Installed some inexpensive ($25 a pair at time of video publishing) ZMOON foglights from Amazon on my 2023 XSR 900.
The install location is where the OEM bolts that hold the front of the fuel tank go. I didn’t use any of hardware that came with the lights.
The hardware I used was all stainless with the exception of the 3 little washers which are aluminum.
The oem bolts in this location are 6mm x 35.
I used for EACH side:
One 6mm x 40mm fully threaded bolt
One 5mm x 12mm bolt
Three 6mm i.d. X 7mm o.d. washers
One flange bolt with serrated face
Approx 4” long by 1/2” wide self-fusing (a/k/a self-amalgamating) tape. This was used post-install to wrap the head of the 6mm X 40mm bolt in the space between the flange nut to make it look more “OEM”.
After grinding off the markings on the face of the two bolts so that they would be flush and straight against each other, they were welded together to make basically a stud.

Amazon link to the 3 prong connector plugs I used - the male side is the end on the light side and it fits easily under the bracket arm that holds the tank in place on each side. The length I made these was about 8” total to the light.

No, I get nothing for the links and I bought all these with my own money.
I started to mention at one point in the vid about not liking the remaining unused bolt holes on the lights, and forgot to add that I covered them with little pieces of 3m black reflective tape - black when unlit and reflect white when hit with light. Just placed it over each side and top where there was a bolt hole and trimmed with a razor blade to fit.
Props to Lindsey Explores - a YouTuber from New Zealand on how to access and wire up to the OEM Sumitomo plug which is behind the panel behind headlight. His video on same:

The plug you need to look for is:
2 Pin Waterproof Connector Plug Set Sumitomo MT090
6187-2311 and 6180-2321 - one is a male and the other is the female. The OEM one on the bike is one of those (forget if male or female) but you wire the lights to the one that corresponds to the OEM plug - confirm polarity as Lindsey showed in his video.
I did replace the low profile fuse under the seat on that circuit which was only 2AMP with a 5 AMP fuse. I have on that circuit a 2-prong SAE-plugged USB charger for my iPhone and now also the fog lights. As far as I know there is nothing on that circuit from factory. I assume it’s for some ignition-switched accessory. I’ve been running the lights with the iPhone charging for at least 30
Hours cumulative with the 5amp fuse and does not blow the fuse nor do the wires get hot.
I know this is a wall of text but trying to give as much detail as possible.
Hope this is helpful to someone.
Any questions just ask and I’ll try to answer.
