Believe in the Sun Concert

Throughout this program we’re reflecting on the many different ways light comes into our lives – from above, in times of darkness, from deep within us, and through connection. Here, as we close our concert, we welcome the return of night together (and the hope for a new day).
It seemed appropriate for our first ever concert featuring the Whitehorse Community Choir Chamber Choir and Persephone Singers in March when many of us are reaching for light literally and figuratively.
The Whitehorse Community Choir gratefully acknowledges we come together to make music on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council.
This concert was made possible by our generous funders; the Government of Yukon Arts Operating Fund, Lotteries Yukon, the City of Whitehorse, and Venasse Systems.
