Stump Shooting with the J Bow Crazy Horse Bow.
Archery is , and always should be fun.
Another fine weather day here in South West Scotland, so I headed off into the target rich environment of some nearby woodland, well off the beaten track.
Stump Shooting with the mighty J-Bow Crazy Horse Horsebow, it is such a great , smooth , fast , accurate and quiet bow , an absolute delight to shoot. Smooth drawing to over 30" with no stacking. Mine is 39lbs at 29" , and I was drawing to 29" today.
I was shooting some goldtip traditional carbon arrows, some bearpaw penthalon hunter extreme carbon arrows, and some old ash wooden medieval fletched arrow. With a mix of zwickey judo points, tophat stumping points, and a whistling point thrown in , because, well, why not.
I had a great time again, it is so good to be able to get out and just sling arrows around the landscape.
No arrows were harmed in the making of this video, hurray! The camera survived my best attempts too :)
Thanks to Uncle Dan from the youtube channel Shooting With Uncle Dan for his tip on a quick nock point using sellotape (scotch tape), it worked a treat, and would be easy to adjust until you found the exact best placement.
