Faux Cyanotype with Watercolor

Follow along as I create a faux cyanotype print(s) using watercolors, a magic eraser and stencils.

NOTE: I didn't realize until after I had edited the video that I left out the important part where I used the magic eraser to pull up some of the watercolor with the stencil lying on the paper. Unfortunately I had deleted all of the original video, so I wasn't able to add it back in. I'll make another full video soon.

The process is to tape your stencil down over your painted watercolor paper. Tear off a small piece of magic eraser and dampen it. Squeeze out any excess water, then dab gently (do not rub) it over the cutout portions of the stencil. This will lift up the watercolor, and leave the design of your stencil remaining.
