Siren Information:
Type: Allertor type 3
Manufactured: Unknown
Installed: Unknown
Port ratio: 9/12
Date: August 2, 2022
Location: Four Seasons Park Field #13
Testing: 1st Tuesday of every month at 10:00 AM, Every monday at 8:30 AM
Cycle: 1 to 3 minute alert for first tuesday, quick growl for mondays
Noteworthy details: That's not an allertor! Yes. Yes it is. The horn is a different color from the rest of the siren, indicative of the horn possibly being swapped. The information badge which is placed on the back of the stator is not present on this unit and there are no screw holes for the badge to be placed. Therefore I have concluded that this siren is a ACA allertor which had its horn swapped sometime after installation or during restoration.
Technical info:
Main camera: Canon Powershot SX280HS
As quick as summer started, summer's almost over. After the ridiculous failure at downer's grove last month I decided to stay local and visit a siren near me instead of going out far. I had this siren in my sights for a while so I ended up going to it to finish off the summer season. Test went good, it activated slightly late. This test was pretty cool since I was able to hear romeoville's 2001s off in the distance before this went off. It was pretty loud but not as loud as I anticipated. Cool nonetheless
