After refuelling, I continue through nearby towns before rejoining Croatia’s beautiful country roads.
The route cuts through valleys and mountains carved open for traffic, offering long views and relaxing stretches of road. At the toll booths, I get lucky — my direction is completely clear, while the opposite side is backed up with heavy traffic and long queues.
I merge onto the dual carriageway and cruise for a while before pulling into a trailer park to take a break and prepare for the final leg of the journey.
