Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has drawn a hard red line after his high-stakes meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago. Speaking to Fox News, Zelensky made it clear that Ukraine will not withdraw from its territories as part of any peace deal with Russia, stressing that the issue is not only legal — but human, with hundreds of thousands of civilians still living in contested regions. Zelensky said peace talks are 90% complete, with territory remaining the most difficult obstacle. He warned that Ukraine cannot defend its skies without American support and confirmed Kyiv is seeking 15-year, NATO-like security guarantees from Washington. At the same time, Zelensky rejected Russia’s claims of a Ukrainian drone attack on Vladimir Putin’s residence, calling it a lie designed to justify further strikes. As war fatigue grows, Zelensky says Ukrainians want peace — but not surrender.
