I built an electric bike as cheaply as possible.
My goal was to create a front-wheel motor setup that can be mounted on almost any bicycle.
To keep costs low, I’m powering it with the batteries from my existing cordless tools.
After using it for a bit over a month, I can say I’m totally satisfied with the result.
With two 4Ah batteries, the bike can go around 8 km on a charge.
If this video gets 100,000 views, I’ll buy two 12Ah batteries for it.
Though honestly, I doubt anyone actually reads video descriptions.
I could probably even drop a potato-pasta recipe in here and no one would notice.
(Although people have asked for that in other videos before.)
So — like, comment, or subscribe!
Because if I reach 100,000 subscribers by the end of 2025, I’ll win a 2004 Opel Astra from a friend.
If you really want to support my work, feel free to share the video, or support me through Patreon or a Super Thanks.
One day, I’ll be a YouTube star.
My big dream is to make a living from YouTube.
If YouTube ever earns me $50,000, I’ll buy a Tesla.
If it brings in $100,000, I’ll get a Mustang.
If I somehow make $300,000, I’m going for a Porsche.
And if I hit $500,000…
I’ll just keep my 2004 Skoda Fabia. 😄
